The origin of a vision

It was in the 90s when Juan Carlos Baumgartner decided to start his professional life in Chicago. After several years at a prominent corporate design firm, learning from

great architects and working on iconic projects, he returned to Mexico in 2000 to embark on a transformative journey:

the founding of spAce.

Since its inception, spAce was conceived with an atelier structure: personalized attention with the strength and reach of an international firm.

in Japan, India and the United States, the firm introduced a fresh perspective on architectural approach in Mexico. The fresh, irreverent and methodologically unique proposal quickly established spAce as a groundbreaker of corporate design in the country.

A new way of living

In 2014, spAce began its national expansion, growing the team in Mexico City and opening offices in Monterrey, and later in Guadalajara/Bajío.

At spAce, architecture is embraced as a tool to improve society, promote well-being, and transform lives.
